The new member portal is an innovative platform designed to make it easier for union members to access important resources such as contracts and training videos. This user-friendly portal provides a seamless and efficient way for members to stay educated and informed about the issues that matter most.
MEMBER BENEFITS
Council 2 is made up of 16,000 members just like you who serve the Washington state community in a wide variety of county and city positions. Council 2 members are eligible to take advantage of two great benefits:
$10,000 LIFE INSURANCE
As a WSCCCE member, you have the opportunity to update your life insurance benefit to $10,000 (previously $1,000 which ended on 12/1/17) and will have access to vital benefits that’ll protect you and your family from out-of-pocket costs.
The AFSME ADVANTAGE program offers a range of benefits and discounts to Council 2 members, including access to financial planning services, legal assistance, and discounts on various products and services. AFSCME Advantage also provides resources to help union members save money on everyday expenses like groceries, travel, and entertainment.

The Washington State Council of County and City Employees, (WSCCCE, often referred to as Council 2), provides a voice and services to public service employees of Washington State and Idaho. These members are organized into smaller groups called locals, and have a number associated to them. You can find your local's union number by using the Find Your Local tool below.
